now that it has been brought to my attention by fast eddie,,,are the ranch rs5000 shocks gas charged...before i ordered them i thought they were, but now that i cant get them to rebound at all and withthe help of fast eddie im guessing that they are not..so anyone with the rs5000 or anyone who knows..help me out!! should i be getting any rebound or not? funny thing is i get some rebound out of one of the front shocks..but help me again!!!

*i know im going to fell very stupid after this*

I know very little about shocks, but I put rs5000s on my trac without any issues. I had to compress some, then manually "stretch" them out to get the holes lined up for the bolts, if that helps.

Ryan,

I think you answered his question. They are not gas presureized. Gas pressure shocks automatically rebound on thier own.

Has anyone read his question?

The shocks are not rebounding on thier own. Ryan came the closest in giving an answer. So, I take it that the shocks are not presureized. Nothing wrong with it.

Mike, there is nothing wrong with your shocks. Just install them.
