hey everyone. i know i keep asking about these spacers but i want to find out more before i buy them. i got my 33"s yesterday and i am rubbing a little bit but i still want the spacers for the stance. i know the rear wont give me any problems but i was told i cant fit a spacer in the front. i was wondering if trimming the cladding is an option to clear the wheel. also whats a good size to get. i was thinking about 1.5" in the rear and an 1.25 in the front. thanks for the help!

ohh yea..forgot to add i have a TT/SL and 3"body lift

Mike,

Now that you have the tires on try this. Turn the wheel to the points where it is closest to hitting both the front cladding and then the other way so it's closest to hitting the inner linings. If you measure out from the tire 1.5" will it hit or would you have clearance? I know on mine with just the tt and shackle it wouldn't fit.

I thought that I seen someone that put 1.25" spacers on and had to cut the bolts because they stuck out a little more and the wheels wouldnt sit flat...

Just a thought from the past....

I have 1.25" spacers and with my aftermarket wheels I had to cut the studs 1/4 " to clear (no big deal). My wheels are flat on the mating surface, no indentations like the stock ones.

Mike,

I am also running 33 on my ST. I have 2" wheel spacers on the back and 1.5" wheel spacers on the front. I did have to trim alot away from the front wheel weel to stop the rubbing after i put the spacers on. Did not have to shorten any bolts. When you trim the wheel well, you will need to trim in the front and the back of the wheel well. What i did was trim what I thought would be enough. Than I drove my ST for a week or so and than went back trim all of the locations that the tire rubbed against. So far I have not had any other issues. Hope this helps.
