hey everyone hows it going? got a quick question, i am going for a set of 285/75/16 this week on an '01 4x4 with a tt/sl and PA 3" body lift. i am also buying wheel spacers but found a little problem while on the phone with the store. i would like to go all out and get the 2" but then i thought i may get a little rubbing on the front fenders and the rear of the wheelbase. anyone know how I would make out? what should i be concerned about with rubbing with the 33's??

HMM.... I would like to say wit 33's, that 1.5 inch spacers will be fine, But not 100% sure... Hopefully some one will chime in..

I just finish putting a 3 in body lift from Performance acc. in and i also put the 285 75 16 wheels on, My opinion is that if you do a tt and shakle lift you should go with bigger tires, i think the set up i have looks just right as far as the spacing between the wheels and the wheel well....... also all i needed to do was trim a little of the inner cladding on the front of the truck.. any questions you can e mail me... hope this helps

Mike,

You will be fine with the 2" spacers on the rear but I don't know about spacers on the front. I have the 285/75/16 with just the tt and shackle lift. I have 1.5" spacers in the rear but I am not able to fit any spacers on the front. When you turn the wheel they would definitely hit the cladding. I am not sure if the additional 3" lift would help.

just remember when you add spacers you will be putting more pressure on the wheel bearings, and causing them to wear early. Atleast that is what i was told, so i bought a wheel with an extra in. of offset anyways... you will still need to cut the cladding alittle, but its not noticeable unless your under the truck....
