HELP ME WITH THIS AUDIO QUESTION...PLEASE

I added an after market sub and amp to my single disc with tape deck ford factory radio, it works great, but then I changed to a factory ford pioneer six disc stereo and I am getting the loud gain noise. I never got that from the other stereo. If I turn the gain down I lose bass and the noise, but I want bass.

What signals are you sending back to the amp from the head unit. With a factory head unit im only guessing that you can send back high level imputs. I wouldnt think it is your amp because the output changes when you switch head units. SO the only thing I can think of is that we need to figure out where the signal is getting messed up.
