HELP - Tail shaft seal

My 2003 ST, 75,000 miles, 4X2 has been in the shop (Ford Dealer) three (soon to be four) times for leaking ATF from the tail shaft seal. Has any one else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Sounds like the bushing in the tranny housing is bad, OR you have excessive movement or vibration in the shaft causing the problem..



Could be a worn shaft too..



Or the mechanic fixing it is an idiot...
