help with blowing fuses

Help...I have fixed everything that I can think of with my fuse that keeps blowing. It's fuse number 20 that seems to affect the overdrive off and other less essential items. I thought it was my aftermarket reverse lights, but I rewired them and they seem to now work. Any thoughts of what I should be looking for?

It is your reverse lights. Disconnect them and see if you still blow fuses.



The OD fuse is also connected to your back-up lights.

Did the fuse start blowing when you hooked up the aftermarket reverse lights.

I've had them in for 5 years and they didn't blow until recently...also, I did unhook them and the fuse still blows. And what is crazy is the reverse lights now work even with the fuse blown!

Maybe a short in the trailer wiring harness..
