I want to surprise Rose with a vanity plate. She in the past stated she wants her maiden name "HIDALGO" but it's taken.. So help me figure out a good substitute... We're only allowed 7 letters/numbers/symbols

HIDALG0

H1DALGO

HIDLGO

HIDLG0

HEDALGO

HDALGO

H_DALGO

i like the two top ones or STanners suggestion, All three are good IMO!

Trying to think back to my semester of high school Spanglish..

Doesn't "go" translate to "va"? Isn't that the reason the name of the Chevy "Nova" meant "No go"?

So maybe "HIDAL VA"?

Larue, how similar do the "0" and "O" look on your state's plates? Do they do the line through the zero or anything like that? What about the "1" and the "I"?

In some states, the fonts look so similar that I'd just do one of those changes and go with it. In others, that would look so weird that I'd avoid it. You'll need to check and decide that for yourself.

I raced sailboats at one time and all was good.

One day I put a name on my boat.

After that, everytime I raced someone would "protest my boat for some race rule violation".

I found out the hard way that names are easier to remember that numbers..

LaRue,

How about "MDN NME"...

I like Bob C's suggestion of "MY ROSE"...If it's not taken?

I don't think there is any good options for "HILDAGO" if that plate number is already taken?

Other options might be:

"YESDEAR"

"THEBOSS"

"THEWIFE"

"MY LOVE"

"MY WIFE"

"SORRY"

"OOPS"

Depending upon your mood, or her mood that day!
