Help with

My significat other is writing some childerns books on cars, specifically the following:

Lotus

Hummer

Mini cooper (new)

Land Rover

If anyone out there in ST land knows of any enthusiast and information sites or if you have personal knowledge of these cars Id appreciate any information you can give me.

just curious.....what kind of books exactly? Ive never seen childrens books about cars, unless they are some sort of picture book?

sorry, I was just a little quick on the draw with the send button. The type of books are non fiction informational for school age children, Typically they are purchased by a library and have a specific age group in mind like boys from 8-12 or girls from 6-10. something like that. The purpose of the series is to spark intrest or feed imagination of young kids. I think the track will be featured or will be included in one of the series.

It is really difficult to find enthusiasts or knowledgabe individuals (unlike this site) on some of these subjects and you can do a lot of browsing before you come acorss some gold ( again unlike this site).



I check in here quite a few times per day ( addict) and am amazed and impressed with the range of people, talents and intrests. I was hoping that I may get some direction on where to look for those cars i listed.

Jill gave Jack a Hummer.

Jack likes his Hummer.

Jack brought over all his friends to see his Hummer.

John asked Jill if she would give him a Hummer.

Jill said "Sorry John, You'll have to ask Jane for a Hummer".

"I will have to do that" said John, "Jane loves Hummers, I'm sure she'd love to give me one for both of us to enjoy. Especially the new H3."

Jim said "Joan would never give me another Hummer. She gave me one a few years ago, but it left a bad taste in her mouth since she had to deal with all the gas."

"How about a Mini?" said Jack.

"She may go for that, she doesn't like them too big." said Jim.

"But those are too small, she would never enjoy that." said Jill.

"To each their own." said Jack. "Besides, Jim knows how to handle a Mini. I'm sure he can give Joan a thrilling ride."
