My ABS light just turned on and my front brakes are making a awful noise and it sounds/feels like there is rocks in my rotars/brakes. What could this be?

It's most likely your wheel bearings. You'll have to replace the hub/hubs. It's a fairly easy project if you follow the write up in the projects section.

Lift or remove the tires and inspect, only way of diagnosing.

Kody,

What "Awful noise". Any noise is not good but since we can't hear it, you need to be mores specific as to what the noise is and when it occurs.

If you hear the awful noise only when you hit the brakes, then you need to inspect your brake pads and rotors. If you hear the awful noise just driving down the street then you probably have a wheel bearing problem, or worse?

The entire wheel bearing assembly is shot and was causing the rotors to rub? Took to the shop cause I needed it fixed for my elk hunt this week...$900 for the entire assembly and new brakes and pads for the front
