help!!!!

i was driving and left from an stop sign and the transmission went to shift to a higher gear and it sounded like it was in neutral and the dash light overdrive off was blinking



please help

Sorry to hear it Chris. From what I've read around here, it looks like your transmission is on its way out. A significant slip and the o/d light blinking means impending failure. Please do a search and you will find a good amount of info regarding it.
