Higher RPM's when Idle

Hi all.



I have been seeing my ST going up on RPM's and I don't know why. I cleaned the throttle body, I even trying adjusting Todd' upgraded throttle and still, whenever engine is warn, I see RPM's going up to more than 1k, it goes to close to 1.5k. Whenever in driiving gear, it stays less than 1k, it happens only when I place it in park or Neutral.



Any idea what may be wrong?:unsure:

IAC or vacuum leak would be my guess.

Are you having the problem with the AC kicking in again ???



Sounds like the vacuum elbow, or a leak at an intake clamp, or another vacuum Leak somewhere..

No Todd, this is not happening when I turn AC on, it happens any and all times I have been running the ST for a couple of miles, it is like it get stuck and when you take it out of driving gear, you have to punch it to see RPM's decreased.

Did you clean the IAC ????

No Todd, this i my next step. I hope this one will do it, if not I guess replace it.
