Friends,

I made it home from Myrtle Beach, SC. Theresa and I spent New Years Eve with two great people we have met being members of this website.

Rose and LaRue Medlin are two great people. It is amazing that you can be such good friends with people you only see once a year.

Anyways, a list of things we did. We did rent a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. We got a 2007 Softail powered by a 96 cubic inch V-Twin. Very powerful...very nice.

We got one HELL of a deal on the rental. We got it for the projected temperature minus 10% and then 50% off on top of that. If visiting Myrtle Beach, SC and wanting to rent a Motorcycle, contact the hotel you are planning on staying at and ask them if they are part of the VMB (Visit Myrtle Beach) card and if Eagle Riders is part of it. The owner is a great guy that wants to get the bikes on the road.

We also went to Dick's Last Resort, Margaritaville, and a couple of the Calabash Seafood joints.

The weather was too cold to make it to Savannah. We rode to Wilmington one day to visit the Serpentarium. If you go on the weekend at 3 PM, you can watch them feed some of the snakes. I hate snakes, but respect them as living creatures with feelings and emotions.

Anyway, we had a great time.

The moral of the story, anytime you get an opportunity to meet a fellow member, do it. You may find yourself having a friend like Rose and LaRue is.

We love you Rose and LaRue!!!

Me Casa is Su Casa.

I don't have much to offer. I know working union, one expects to have prime real estate property at a golf course, but I must have been in the wrong union.

I have a very comfy couch and if you catch the right time of the year, the attic can be very comfy.
