So I finally moved into the house Lisa and Myself bought, driving up the street, I counted 3 More Tracs besides myself all within 1/2 mile. Then i drove up the street and I see three more,,,, Talk about a mini meet, all on one street.

How may folks have other trac owners living cose to them?

I see a LOT of sport tracs out there. I never really realized how many there were until I got one a couple of years ago, which caused me to notice them more. They're almost the perfect vehicle. Part truck, part SUV without being TOO large, like the Avalanche. The "average" person doesn't need the HUGE bed of a truck, nor the HUGE room of a traditional SUV, so something like a sport trac is just the logical thing to buy. Plus, it's dang near impossible to get the things stuck, they go practically anywhere and are very comfortable...plus, they don't get the crappy "truck" gas mileage. Around here, you really can't drive for more than 10 miles without seeing at least one of 'em.

Zip, zero, nada....

I see 'em once in a while in my hood, but they're usually at the upscale restaurant down the street from my house. I'm the only one in my hood that has one, which is OK with me.

there are a lot more lately, but still not many in my immediate area...I have yet to see another silver 01 Job 1 with the 15 inch wheels lol...i have yet to see another trac with the 15s, no matter what color haha

I live in an apartment complex. I would say about five total cruising around here. No wait, make that four. One got crushed by a tree during hurricane Wilma. LOL

I can see one from my kitchen window. Have seen at least 3 others within mile of my house. I see several eveyday driving around and I live in small town.

It seems most ST drivers/owners here are not intrerested in logging onto mysporttrac.com as far as I can tell.

Highlife,

I had one in Europe for two years. Drove through your neighborhood (Belgium that is) a few times driving from Germany to England. That was between 2000 and 2002.

Here's a pic overlooking St Michaels Mount, Penzance, England.

And there are about 10 or so in my neighborhood here in SA. I probably see 20 a day to and from work.

That is cool, I wold love to chat with these other trac owners, but, i think they just USE their tracs, and not LOVE their tracs. Oh well. I always count them when I drive up the road and wonder where they are when I do not see them.

Yes Yes a Boring life I live... LOL

I follow a white one out of my neighborhood nearly every morning on the way to work. A lady about 60 years old drives it. No mods.

When I get to work, there is a red '03 XLT. The owner stopped to ask me about the rear vent visor. She asked about six months ago, but still doesn't have it. I told her about the site, but a no show so far. She's in her 50's. I'm beginning to think most of the ST owners around here are middle aged women. :(
