How to: Oil Gauge

I did a search on the OIL GAUGE problem and found lots of interesting information. I also have the sticking Oil Gauge problem and would like to replace myself since the local Ford dealer wants $169 for labor plus parts. (The part is only $14)

I didn't see instructions for changing the Oil Sendor Switch in the projects section.

Has anyone done this? If so, can you send detailed instructions on how to do this. How difficult is this?

Luis, I never did it, but regardless, I would suggest getting the service manual.

The service manual from Ford (sold by others) has me unimpressed. For instance, I could find no content on removal and replacement of the IAC valve, a common repair.



You could not do much worse with an aftermarket manual. JMO
