Is there going to be a major restriction on the amount of HP I can put onto an 08 Adrenalin w/ the AWD system? I believe its the type that only activates when wheels are slipping, which with 500HP (What I'd like to do) the wheels will be slipping lots ;)

You will push the strength limitations of the system for sure but outside of things physically breaking it should be a non issue.

Im probably going to get dual exhaust if I can, if not a new muffler for sure, and an intake and all that... so I best be waiting on that then I will order some tunes... Not to mention that the truck is 2-3 months away from being in my posession...

One more question, with a performance tune and exhaust and intake, what sorta HP should I be expecting out of the 4.6L v8?



 
10-20whp on average. but that is usually across the whole band

The AWD system is turning all four wheels all the time. The auto 4x4 system that regular STs uses only activates when wheel slippage is detected.



What type of forced induction are you planning on doing?
 
with all the boltons you might get close to 290/300 RWHP, as tiger said you will never see 500 BHP without forced induction and about 7 grand in mods.

The 4.6 3 valve without being forged is safe to about 470 BHP about 400 RWHP.

After that you will start breaking engine parts, been there, done that.
 
Supercharger is what im thinking... I have to do some research on whats available out there... Id like to either buy (when/if available) the hood thats on the Concept SVT ST... Otherwise I will have one made. So I need something that will work with that.



Money is no object in my quest for 500 ;) It doesnt have to happen now it will take time for sure, but I will get there...

yep. lets debunk a few things, with my mods I make 209 RWHP thats approx 246 BHP, 36 over oem with the V6, can you feel it? yep, is it worth the $ 1500.00 bux it cost for 36 HP, Nope, I am driving a lead sled as are you.

get up to the hige numbers, you will lose at a minimum 15/18 %

My 03 is pretty quick, is my DD, would I do the mods I have done again? not on a bet

was a waste of money for how the ST is used.
 
XST: I talke dto Cervinis on Wed about getting the COncept hood (04 Mustang CObra Style) hood made. They said that if there was a demand they could and would do it......but a one off is a streatch! So mabe if you and I both were begging for one it might happen!?



But then again.....I thought we were trying to make our STA's different!?
 
If Money is no object, than go with a whippel twin screw, or a kennebell 2.6 blower

Well a hood like that would sell im sure, so we wouldnt be the only ones with one...



I have spoken to them over at cervinis about thier C-500 kit a while back for the mustang...



I dont know how much you're willing to spend on the hood, but id pay pretty big bucks for 1 off things... just to have them...
