in the past there have been posts about the battery life of hybrid vehicles.

The Ford hybrid batteries will last forever. The Toyota batteries will need replacing almost immediately. (eye roll)



I'm just saying this now before others do.



Remember, this is a Ford website. Toyota BAD, Ford GOOD. (two eyes rolling in different directions)

Mom had a 2001 Prius she just traded that had the original batteries in it- it was working just fine after 10 years. Of course she only had 12,000 miles on the thing...
 
Just read an artcle in PM. The chevy volt never fully charges or discharges. This is how GM has warrantied their battery for 10yrs.



Now I wonder if the others are doing the same for battery life.
