I can't get gas !

When I wen to get gas yesterday the Sport Trac would not take it.

Every time I would try to pump in the gas it would it would blow back out the filler neck.

At first I thought it was the pump so I tried another pump with the same result.



I was finally able to get some gas in to her by pumping really slowly.

Also my wife (as only a wife can) made a comment that "the truck has been running crummy al week and making a strange sound.



Any ideas ??

Fuel tank vent line is plugged

Ditto. Usually a plugged or dislodged vent hose.

Easy to check but somewhat dirty, use gloves.
