Who provides the voice for Mr. Krabs?

None other than Clancy Brown, aka the Kurgan in "Highlander".

Holy ground, Highlander! It's better to burn out, than fade away...

There can be only one...

It's better to burn out, than fade away...

Pyromaniac - Def Leppard

Sorry, Fred. Def Leppard must've borrowed that line from Neil Young's "My, My, Hey, Hey (Out of the Blue)", first published on the album "Rust Never Sleeps" in '79.

"My My, Hey Hey (Out Of The Blue)"

My my, hey hey

Rock and roll is here to stay

It's better to burn out

Than to fade away

My my, hey hey.

Out of the blue

and into the black

They give you this,

but you pay for that

And once you're gone,

you can never come back

When you're out of the blue

and into the black.

The king is gone

but he's not forgotten

This is the story

of a Johnny Rotten

It's better to burn out

than it is to rust

The king is gone

but he's not forgotten.

Hey hey, my my

Rock and roll can never die

There's more to the picture

Than meets the eye.

Hey hey, my my.

Those plagiarisers! I sure hope they gave Neil credit somewhere.

Let's just give 'em the benefit of the doubt and say that they were "inspired" by Neil Young, the Godfather of Grunge.:D

I'm self employed going on seven months full time. I ran the business part-time as a hobby for nine years. I love what I do. I'm the janitor, trash man, book keeper, shipper, sales person, complaints dept and car washer. Love it all. Most of the money is going back into the business as I'm trying to open up a new shop in July 2006 which has a two car install bay for doing installations on SCCA Race cars, trailers and commercial service vehicles.

This is far better than the 10 years I worked for a software company in Marketing. I no longer travel 15 days a month, I no longer have to adhere to a professional dress code and put up with all the politics that goes with working for a corporation.

If you hate your job do something about it. Either work with the system or leave the system and do something else for a living. Remember you choose your profession the profession doesn't choose you.;)

I have been laid off for 8months now...love it..but I need to go back to work...I enjoyed instrument tech work...the people that bought the company from Mobil, made life there rediculas...

For those of you that think Unions are bad...I was a union hand and we made lots of consesions for 5 yrs under new owners so they could stay afloat..we gained nothing during that time..our wages and benifits were way behind the industry..last one for me was a lay off, after 36yrs...not all union hands are hard nosed and hurt the economy...We had several contracts that we should have striked..we chose to keep it afloat and work with them...in the end it cost 46jobs..but those jobs were picked backup by contract workers...next contract I expect they will bust the union..Thats what happens when you try to work with the owners....

I hear ya, SST!

I hate work, but I love my employment situations! I gotta say that I love both my jobs!

Since my mother owned a pizza restaurant for the last 28 yrs, I always figured I'd be in the restaurant business 'when I grew up'... So I spent most of my adult life working in restaurants, so when the time came, I'd know what the heck I was doing. Went to work for her, and found out I couldn't! Too many 'differences of opinions'. BUT she did buy rental properties over the years, and needed someone to help maintain them. THAT'S what I do now. The profession 'chose' me, so to speak. I set my own hours, days off, wear whatever I want to, and don't have to answer to too many people... Can't complain there! It ain't always great, especially when tenants call you at odd hours with problems, or when you have several things go wrong at different properties at the same time, but oh well....

The 'differences of opinions' led to my other job, bartending at ARCO arena. Been there 6 yrs and it's been the best job I've had ever! They pay me good money to go there and have fun, see good shows, make money, and look at beautiful women all night! Life is good!
