Just wondering what some have had to pay or been quoted for the front gear install?

I have heard shops charge alot because they have to remove the front diff to put the new gears in. I would guess around 1k. But you could take out your diff yourself and save all the cash that the shop will charge about 100.00 hr for.

When I had my 99 cobra with the IRS they wanted 900 for gears and install, just didn't know if the front cost even more or what.

$900 is a little steep, Mustangs are a walk in the park to do gears.....
My rear is going to cost me about $600.00 and the front around $800.00

900 was for the gears, install kit, and install. That 800 prics is that install only or for gears and install?
