I paid 26K for a 2008 limited/v8/4x4/leather/nav/moon/cover/sliders earlier this month. Seems to have everything but the heated windshield and dvd. MSRP on it new was $39K. It had 44K miles on it. It was in good shape. I thought that was a pretty good deal. I had seen a few cheaper at dealers but this was a private sale so I didn't have to pay sales tax (9%).

OK I got it for 20k I think they could have sold it for 19500 but I realy don't know what they had in it anyway it's realy nice and has very low miles and looks great black with a tan int the window sticker is in the glove box it was a 32k msrp... oops I forgot it's for my son his first car I'm glad he wanted a sport trac it's a safe truck for a while it was looking like one of those little cherry bomb cars yikes...

Flabioso,

Congrats. Probably could have got her for less, but not a bad price.

You should get dad of the year! Hope he doesn't crack her up, and that you can continue to afford it and put gas in her! Not the cheapest vehicle for a young driver, what with insurance, fuel costs, etc. Certainly not a "first accident" and leave her side of the road, no harm, no foul as long as the kid is okay kind of vehicle either.

Good luck, and welcome to the site.
