LOL well through the world of wirelss im "stealing" an internet connection from someone...we got our base housing unit today...gotta wait a WEEK for our household goods to get here:angry:

Wow! You have to wait a week for your household goods? Try five months! I shipped my stuff in December and it arrived in April.
I found out today that four boxes I mailed to myself before Christmas have been received in Belgium. Only another week or two and maybe they will finish their trip to Poland. These boxes contain all my necessary items I needed as soon as I arrived in Poland in January, like my winter coat, service dress uniform, PT gear, etc. Normal shipping to any other base would have taken 7 to 10 days. This shipment has already taken seven months in the military postal system. :blink:

Anyway just to let you know I was born in Detroit, and live about an hour or so from McQuire
AFB. That sorta makes us neighbors...LOL
