hey yall,

i just did the spindle lift on my trac and my brake lines are a little short in the front. i cant seem to find any brake line extensions. am i not lookin in the right place? or is there a way around those and still having enough to have the suspension flex safely? thanks...

oh, ill be running 36" tsls i cant wait

Brock,

I don't know of anyone that has found some. You might need to make them yourself.

You would need to find a high pressure hydraulic hose shop. Most places wont touch them if you say they are for brakes on a vehicle that is used on the road. You would have to give them a line of BS that it is used for some machine hydraulic line.

Cant you buy the brake line, flairing tool, bender and fittings at any good auto supply store? I remember watching people make brake lines all the time as a kid. OK so it was 30 years ago big deal.

I'll try to get pics for you tomorrow. I simply relocated the bracket that bolts on to the frame a little lower for slack on my spindle lift and it has been great. The key is to work the hardline so as to not crimp or pinch it but to get some extra length from it.
