Wow, with all that ambiance he could really do with a Cracker Barrel down there too.

I barely recognized Mike Rowe in that.

Didn't know he was a trained singer, but that isn't as surprising as when I learned that Jackie Chan was a trained singer...maybe because I heard that already, the shock of this was less?

Funny you should mention Cracker Barrel. Patti and I went to a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Kansas City KS last October when we were there for a NASCAR event. We had heard all these wonderful things about that chain. Good God it was horrible. I had better meals in prison (I was delivering prisoners). That had to be one of the worst meals I ever paid for. I had chicken and dumplings. Gross, nothing but gross describes that meal. I would rather eat at McDonald's.

The worst Cracker Barrel I've been to was in The South...I guess it's all south to you, but you know what I mean ;)

Kinda ironic, IMO.

1953 - My Grandfather built a complete western Saloon in his basement. I remember playing in it when I visited. It looked just like the one of the Saloon's in the old westerns.

Didn't remember it until your post. Thanks

Cracker Barrel, like Olive Garden are two of the most consistently over-rated chains, IMHO.

"Thirded".

IMO, there's a reason that all of the entrees @ Olive Garden have accompanying text on the menu saying "Best with X alcoholic product"; if you drink enough, you'll forget how horrendous the food, service, and pricing was.

With real booze? Man, I think I had a deprived childhood
