so we are well on our way to the new house. I had a carpenter frame the corner of the foundation with 2x6 studs for our walkout/exposed basement. Question- what do I need to do on the inside of those 2 walls as far as insulating? Right now it will just be 2x6 studs, OSB, and siding (inside toward outside). So, do I stuff batt insulation into the stud spaces, moisture barrier, dry wall, etc.

Ive done some basement work before ,make sure your carpenter puts down a foam sill gasket on the floor. The reason being the studs on the basement floor will soak up any moister that is in the concrete. The next thing you need to know is your basement dry if it is,the best way to insulate in a basement is to make sure your wall framing is about 2" from the wall and then you spray foam it. Might be pricey but well worth the money.
