interior light not coming on when open door in cold

Hi all,

It looks like my interior main and rear lights are no longer turning on when i open the door in the morning. but this only occurs when cold. after arriving at destination and open the door, the light turns on as expected.. the light also can be turned on from the dask roll switch as expected.



Any thoughts on what is occuring, and how to correct?

Switch is sticking in the door or it is shrinking when it is cold and the contacts are not connecting well.



Once you drive it, it is either warming up a bit or the open and closing of the doors is freeing it up.

thanks Joe, any ideas on how to fix it or should i replace the switch?

Open the door and spray the lock on the DOOR side with a silicone lubricant....



Open and close the door a couple of times...
