While detailing my new STA this morning, I just happen to look underneaeth to confirm I did indeed receive a spare tire. And to my surprise I found a Michelin P235/65R18, but on my STA are Pirelli Scorpion STR P255/50R20.

Any similiar stories on other's 2010 STA? No, I didn't expect the spare to be 20" Polished Aluminum wheel to match my wheels, but I did expect the spare to be the same size & brand tire.

I tend to use the new spare when buying replacement tires as the 4th tire & only have to buy 3 new matching brand tires & then put a used OEM tire as my spare.

the 235/65-18 IS the same rolling diameter as your Pirreli's. Besides, the Pirreli's really suck. You'll be through them in less than 15k miles any way. And you'll find that the handling will deteriorate rapidly as they wear. So start shopping now for a replacement. I like the Toyo tyres personally. Be forewarned. Bob
