ST'erriffic was running with 285/75R16's I believe, but on stock wheels (at least in this picture). Your new wheels are probably 8" wide, so your setup will create more rubbing than he had.

From personal experience, I know you won't be able to use the Ford splash guards with this size tire.

I think you've made a great choice. Those are good looking wheels. Be sure and post pics after getting them on.

I have the same 285/75/16 BF Goodrich that you are looking to put on. I haven't followed the other post you mentioned but just want to make sure you know that you need some type of lift to get them to fit. Also, I was able to keep my Ford splashguards. I had some rubbing on the fronts and removed those but the back has plenty of space.

I should clarify my comment on the splash guards. I'm talking about the front only. I don't know how George managed to keep his on, but when I put 285/75R16's on my Trac, the edge of the tire tread almost ripped the front guards off while turning in the tire store parking lot. I had to remove them before I could drive home. This was with a TT lift.

Come to think of it, I had mine installed on wider 8" custom wheels. George's tires are on the narrower stock wheels. That's probably the difference.

thanks. I have a 3" body lift already.. and unfourtunately i can no longer ger the moto metal 951's so Im getting the moto metal 950's

I had aTT & shackle lift, but switched to a 3" body lift, both worked fine with 285,s
