Gonna change my diff fluid this weekend... just wanted to know if using the synthetic gear oil is ok for the non-lsd diffs. and which weight.
is synth. diff fluid ok to use on the non-lsd diff?

Any of the weights will do... IF you can find the 80w90 in syn, go with that....
If not, the 75/140 will work...
You may need over 2 pints for each box..

so 3 bottles for the rear... thanks Todd, only thing is... I read the project thread on the Trickflow Diff Cover install and it said that he used over 5 pints... just for the rear? is that right? seems like a lot of fluid.

With the trick flow cover it will hold alot more fluid than the stock diff....
