02 ST, Deep wedgewood blue/grey, 4wd, 5 speed manual tranny. Orig owner, 165K miles. EXTENSIVE records from new, every oil change(3K intervals), every gas fill up, if it was broke, making noise...it was fixed.

mods-lowered 3" rear, 2" front, Magnaflow cat back exhaust, MAC hi-flow intake with new K&N filter, Edelblock mono tube IAS performance shocks for lowered track, EE rear sway. Shocks replaced within last 20k. Hidden hitch, cargo cage, rubber bed mat, and Pace roll top cover. Custom above bed Thule rack system.

Two wheelsets-16" oem powder coated grey with Nokian Hakka Suv winter rubber, 20" Moda R7's with Hankook Ventus St 295's for summer. Both tire sets have approx 40% tread left, 20's do have slight cupping on inside's.

The bad...Moda's have clear coat issues, show their age. ST has perferated rust on both front fenders at the bumper cover, leading edge of hood, as well as the sill's.

The good...run's very strong, extremely dependable.

My commute has increased, and the mpg is killing me. That being said, it's been 11 years...so it might be time.

I've searched KBB, NADA, Autotrader, Emunds, etc. Prices are all over the place, there is a 85K mile truck similar to mine on Autotrader for over $12K for christ sake. I'm thinking $4500-5 in my condition.

I'm in Central New York if that matters

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

This probably won't be of much help, but since nobody has offered anything, here's what's in Des Moines, Ia. There are 3 '01 or '02 Sport Tracs on used car lots around here that I have looked over. Mileages are 101,000, 111,000, and 137,000. All are nice looking trucks with no visible rust, and no visible mods. Options vary. The 111,000 mile '01 is the best optioned with leather, moonroof, etc. The 101,000 ST has had some bodywork done and there's an area where it's peeling. I don't know about the mechanicals of any of them. All are priced at $7995 and I think there's another one in the area also for $7995.

A used car lot in SE Ia has 2 loaded low mileage (57,000 and 89,000 miles I think) '05s they're asking $12,900 for.

Given the rust and the mods that may or may not appeal to an average buyer, you probably aren't too far off. On the other hand, you have extensive records.

I think you're in the right price range. It helps that it is a 5spd 4x4. That is rare and you might find that the person most interested in this truck doesn't care anything about the mods you did as an offroad enthusiast would love those options.

Those dealership prices are high, at least for my area. Back in '10 I paid $9.7k for my '01 4x4 fully loaded in mint condition with 56k miles.

It is worth what you can get for it.

You probably won't get much from your mods or your extensive records.

NADA, properly adjusted for location, actual mileage, and factory options would be my best guess. Otherwise, take it around to some used car lots and ask them what they would give you for it.

Of course, you might find someone who is wealthy and looking for exactly what you have got.

Good luck.
