Job 1 or 2?

How do I tell if it's a Job 1 or 2? It's an '01 but I'm not the orginal owner. Is there a quick way to find this out?

Drivers side door jam is the build date. Before June=Job 1 after June=Job 2.

Look at your engine. If it looks like this...

You have a job 2. If it doesn't, then you have a job 1. Also what oil filter do you have? Motorcraft FL1A or Motorcraft FL820S. If it is the FL1A, it is a job 1.

Easy way is if your oil filler is on the driver side it is job 1...passenger side, job2

If the transmission slips, It could be either.

the Job 1 and Job 2 are different.

Door date is not allways correct.....



Go by the engine it self.... I have seen ( beceause of the throttle bodies I sell) 2001 ST's with Job 2 motors with build dates of 2000..........

FWIW, my Trac got a bath on our trip to Tennessee. The last bath was about 3 months ago. The next bath will be sometime in march or april.
