essentially correct.
If a new vehicle is introduced late in a model year, Ford will use the following year and refer to it as a 'job 1'. Then, when the rest of the models are introduced for that year, the improved model will bear the same year but as a 'job 2'.
Years ago, a job 1 would've been refered to as a 'YY & 1/2' [YY= current model year]
