keep replacing PCV elbow

Is there an aftermarket replacement setup for the continuous cracking/softning of the PCV elbow ??....$7.00 pc for part # 7001 @ Autozone isn't a bad price,but having to continually replace it enough times that I've got 3-4 extra's "in stock" is ridiculous. :angry:

Sounds like AutoZone's #7001 hose is not fuel, oil, or vapor resistant like the OEM Motorcraft KCV-190.

I used a small block ford water pump elbow on mine about 120,000 miles ago... so problem..
