quick question on the door code the first owner remembered 4 digits of it, my neighbor

has a F150 and he said it is 5 digits and said his code has 2 digits then a 0 then the last 2 digits.

so i guess my question would be is it always a 0 in the middle or can it be other numbers as well?



reason i ask is i tried the 4 digit code the first owner remembered and stuck the 0 in the middle but it didnt work.

Nope, not always a zero.

You need to determine if you have a Job 1 or a Job 2 version since you own an 01.



Job 1, behind the rear seat behind the panel on a module.



Job 2, behind the passengers air bag on the module.
