Just had the whole Check Engine Light, P0401 error, DPFE series of events.
Checked the message board for the first time since 2003. I learned we can get the CEL checked for free at Autozone (saved me $100). Learned the P0401 code DID NOT mean EGR valve (saved me $42), learned I could replace the DPFE myself (saved me $100), got the Autozone part number from you guys (SU2308).
Get CEL checked at Autozone------------------------------------------ FREE
DFPE sensor------------------------------------------------------------- $25
Having a site like this that saved me TIME and MONEY------------ PRICELESS

YOU GUYS ROCK! I am sure now that the ST is getting older, I'll be checking here quite a bit for repair / maintenance help.
