laptop autherization

Aloha,

I have been given a hand me down Dell laptop. I have set myself as administrator. When I try to run eraser to clean up some old files, there is a message that I don't have authorization. What else do I need to do to get permission to run this program?

call dell you might need proof that the lap top was given to you they will put the laptop in your name so you have the authorization or you could just get a mac!
