Largest Tires?

I have a 2005 XLT 4x4, with 235/70R16 tires on it. What are the largest tires that I can put on without changing the 16" wheels or making any modificatiosn?

265/75/16 or 265/70/16 is the largest tire you are going to fit without rubbing.

I've found that the 255/70/16's will rub when turned all the way to the lock. But no road noise or complaints so far

Mine Rub too on my 2005 XTL. Not even when wheel is cranked.. all its rubbin on ATM is plastic... just gotta tie it back, but im lazy..

my 255 70 16 came stock n rubbing my 265 75 16 do not rub with 1" of TT and 1" of SL even off road.2001 4X4

I put on 265/75-16's, they rubbed up front a little at full lock until I turned the bars up. Mine came stock with 235/70's and 3.73 gears also, so I figure my speedo is off by about 10%. All off-roading is in low range.
