Hey guys, I thought I would add some L.E.D. Daylight running lights to my '03 ST. When I got under the hood into the fuse box I couldn't find a mini Fuse that turns on and off with the ignition. They are either hot all the time or blanks ( not in use) I really don't want to go thru the firewall into the other fuse box. Any ideas where I can find power that comes on and off with the key? Is there a bigger fuse in the underhood fuse box that comes on with the key that I could tap into with an inline fuse to the lights? Any thoughts and/or ideas would be appreciated Thanks Neighbordave

I believe most people just splice them into their actually running lights. I have on a few vehicles and as long as you aren't overloading the circuit and seal your connections, you shouldn't have any issues

I found a connection point where 12V appears when the key is "on". I power mine directly (thru a fuse), but only have a couple of low current lights. If you want to control a larger load, obtain 12V off the buss at the front of the fuse box, and use a slave relay and fuse to avoid issues with the trucks electrical system. Everything is available at most auto parts stores, and AMAZON. Hope this helps!
