Hey Y’all , anybody have any experience with putting LED bulbs in their ST. I have a 2007 and swapped the bulbs, with what I was told were the right ones for the truck. I have a light on the dash now, for both right and left sides. They both seem to work. The bulbs are H-13 2008 and the connectors are the right ones.

Need load resistors as well. The lower resistance in the led drivers makes the body control module think there is a bulb out(a failed bulb has no resistance). You’ll need one for each bulb(or more if you swap tail lights out for leds also). They go by different names as well, can bus chip/module, anti can bus module, or some collection of words that make it seem moar smarter. 🤦🏼‍♂️ End of the day, it’s a resistor, and you’ll need them to get rid of the faults.

I had the same issue with my '09. First had just the bulbs which errored every time, then I installed resistors which helped reduce the dash errors but they were still relatively frequent.
After digging around (probably on here somewhere) I bought these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KXTP9SY
Not only are the high/low patterns much better but the dash errors were reduced to once every 3 or 4 months.

Note: I also ditched the resistors I had installed with the first set of LEDs when I installed these

Can anyone help me out please? I have a 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4.0 and I’m changing out all of the lights to led lights. I’m running into a problem with the headlights specifically. I’ve tried multiple different lights with built in error free Canbus as well as separate Canbus/decoders installed with non built in error free leds. No matter what I’ve tried, I still get the error codes on the dash. I’ve tried 3 different built in Canbus led light bulbs and 3 different Canbus/decoder kits with non built in led lights. Does anyone know what else I can do to prevent this from happening.

I changed my headlights to LED and an 08 sport track limited. I got them off Amazon and also bought the decoder kit to go with them. periodically my dash comes on and says my headlight is burnt out, but it’s not I just reset it

Sorry if it’s a dumb simple question. And thank you for responding.

On my truck there is 3 buttons on the dash. One says “info” one says “ set” and one says “reset”. Just press the reset button and the error turns from orange to green and goes away.

Ok. Thank you so much. I appreciate it.

Thank you so much. I just ordered them. I hope it works, especially when everything else hasn’t as of yet. I’ll let you know though if they do or don’t. But thank you. I really appreciate it a lot.

I tried 2 other types, but these were the only one that worked
I really hope they do too. I tried so many different bulbs and Canbus decoders that I’m losing count. I ordered them but I won’t receive them till next Sunday. So much for Amazon prime being just a few days. Seems like everything I order is a week for delivery. But once I get them I’ll definitely let you know how they work. Thanks again though. I really appreciate it a lot.

I'm running LED fogs and LED headlights with attached resistors from LASFIT. Have not had one problem with them. For OP, do your headlight LEDs have a cooling fan?

That’s what I’d like to know. I heard the led lights with the fan draws more current so it won’t throw a code.
