Last Thursday I did some custom decals for a Sprint Car that was practicing on Friday night. The cars sponsor wanted their logos on the car. I talked to the sponsoring company on Saturday and asked how the car did. Sadly, the car hit the wall, the throttle stuck wide open as he was heading into turn 1, and the driver died on impact. A Hans device probably would of saved him but he wasn't using one as it's not required in the class. My jaw dropped as I was being told of this as it's a complete tragedy to our local racing community and family/friends that knew him.

The little things just don't seem to matter anymore.

Yep, got a call tonight that a colleague's husband died this morning while fishing. Seems he had a little trouble breathing, and then it was all over. He was 50 years old.

Kind of puts it all in a different perspective.

My college buddy, close friend, and guy that stood up at our wedding died of cancer not that long ago...he was 39, married, daughter is 3yo.

Live for today folks!
