long island ny/upstate ny/coneticut meet?

ok we've kinda gotten away from the talks on this meet. we really need to decide if were going to have it where gary d from conn. suggested if so gary you need to find out how much for the permit and let us know the details about having it there. if not we'll just have to find a place hear on long island. also we need to get set on a date...aug. sept. or oct. i didnt go or actually know about last years long island meet. i was away from the site, but from what todd z and george c has told me it was a kick ass time and they had something like 12 tracs come. i want to get this meet going and planned so if not conn. then it will be here on long island hopefully at the same place as last year. so were going to need a head count on who will be able to attend so we can determin if 1, its worth having and 2 we know what kind of food options to look at and 3 the size of the place were going to have it at. so lets get this going and done. any questions you can email me at [email protected]

Paul, sorry about the delay. I just talked to the park people and he said no problem with a small group of cars of 10 to 20 getting together at the park. There is no permit fee just the parking fee of a max of $14 for out of state. We can picnic and use the grills that are there. I could bring some fishing poles if anyone wants to hook a bluefish surf casting. So, I think Sept. or Oct. would be good because of the heat factor. Let's get a head count going.

GREAT gary. not a problem, i just re read my post and it kinda sounded abrupt so again i appologize for it sounding that way. so far thats 2 people coming lets keep this going.

useing the bbqs would be agreat help so we dont have to order a hero. just throw some burgers and stuff in a cooler and come on up. now hopefully everyone will come up to conn.

other then that. I am in.. as long as I am not to far away from her during the time she is due.
