Longer wheelbase

Greetings to all of you for happy new year. I noticed the 2007 ST specifications that it has a very long wheelbase - 131 inch. Is that correct? If it is correct, then the ride in 2007 ST will be much better than the ride in 2003 ST. Am I thinking right? What is your opinion? With thanks.

yes, out of the box the 07 rides and handels better than the Gen I ST .......

yes they will ride better, but it shouldnt have anything to do with longer wheelbase



its all about the front and rear Indepentant Suspension, rides alot smoother then a straight rear axle

I tried one out at D-Patrick in Evansville, when they first came in. I took it own a pretty rough road, then 2 days later I took my 04 Sable down the same road. The 07 ST had much less road sounds, handled better and was smoother than the Sable. I love my 01, but I love the 07's and want one. Well maybe someday.

It's as Scottg said. The IRS is what makes it ride smoother. The wheelbase isn't that much longer than the Gen1's.
