Anyone here familiar with or know anything about a "Forest River" brand RV. We looked at one yesterday. It was one of their lightweight models, 4302lbs. Just need to know if they are a good brand. I know there are many out there, but don't have the time to go and look at them all. Thanks...

I don't know anything about them, but I was just wondering if you were planning on buying an orange one to match, like ya did with the tractor? :D

I had a Forest River 21' hybrid and did not have a real good experience with it. It had continuing problems with leaks that resulted in a roted floor. This within the first 2 years. Since replacing the floor was way to expensive I just reinforced the floor from underneath with 3/4" treated plywood. Sold it last year and I was glad I got rid of it. Its a shame because I really liked the looks of it. Nice in apperance but cheaply made. Advice: Do not get an RV with particle board flooring.

Gary, if you go over to RV.NET, you will have a vast # of people to answer this question. There is over 165,000 memebrs, but most do not real active.

Look me up over there, my memebr id is shotgun

Forest River campers are good my parents have had 2 of them one was a Salem 27ft 5th wheel, that they got in 1996' and the one they have now is a Sierra 35ft 5th wheel, which they bought new in 2001, Both brands are made by Forest River, they are very nice campers never had anything go wrong with them other than a flat tire. Hope this helps.:D
