Lately when I start to slow down in my ST my tires make this loud noise that is best described as the kinda of noise you would hear when a jacked up huge tired truck like Bigfoot was pulling up beside you. Kinda like a wah wah wah sound ( man I suck at this). Not to try to start a tire war but they are Michelins LTX MS, 265/ 75 /16 about 3 years old with no signs of wear or cupping. They have been great tires. Air pressure is good and I rotate every other oil change. The last alignment has been 6 months ago but I havent had them balanced in forever, but there has been no signs of needing to. Your help is appreciated.

You may have the begining of cupping...mine do that also, I have to look real close and I can see the cupping...

I get a roaring sound when slowing down, not braking. Usually around 50-40mph. Right now I'm relating it to the rear end. Should know more after tomorrow. I have the same tires in 255/75/16.

I would check the fluids in the rear end and the transfer Case to see if they are low....
