What would be a fair price if I had my ST lowered about 2" all the way. What kind of price should I expect so I know if these guys are blowing smoke.

Thanks

i am interested in owering mine as well 2"

can you be a little more specific where to get this kit?

maybe a link to the item?

thanks

if you go to explorer express they have a lowering kit that has all you would need including the camber adj and the blcoks along with the bolts go to http://www.explorerexpress.com

I lowered mine using the Explorer Express kit, and Michelle's instructions. It has what you need to lower the front and rear. Get an alignment afterwords. You'll need it. I did mine myself, and it took a couple hours since I had to wrestle the pin on the passenger side block into the mating hole. I have 3 inch blocks, and I also removed the front torsion bolts completely.

Hint: A good hydraulic shop jack is your best friend.

with everyone lowering their st's, are you using regualr shocks, or the edelbrocks that are designed for the lowered stance.

i understand it that if you use regular shocks, the compression on the shock from the reduced height mitigates most of the benefit of a regular shock, as most of the work from shock is in the first 2 "

wouldnt the valve on a regular shock be continually compressed, and not work as designed ?

Right now I'm using a regular Monroe Reflex for stock height. I have a pretty stiff ride right now, but I kinda like it. I might switch to shocks for lowered STs sometime, though.
