Okay, hmmm, I was reading what was engraved in the wheel after i installed my rear spacers.

I'm sure 90 ft/lbs is OK. I was only mentioning the 100 setting because I'd seen it in the manual. BTW, the manufacturer of my aluminum wheel spacers says not to go higher than 95 on the spacers, so that's what I use now.
 
I use the German method of "gudenteit". I tighten them snug with the lug wrench. Using a bit of spray lubricant on the threads will ease removal the next time you rotate tires.
 
Usually aluminum wheels are set from 90-100 lb-ft. Steel wheels can go a little higher. The important thing is to tighten them in a criss-cross pattern to insure minimum wheel stress.
