MAC intake hum

Anybody know what would cause the cold air intake to hum when the engine is warm, in park and A/C off? As soon as the A/C is turned on the humming ceases. Any ideas?



Also the filter needs to be cleaned. I have the K&N Air Filter cleaning kit and oil spray. Would it be ok to use this on the MAC filter or do I need to use another cleaner?

so is it normal or not? it gets pretty obnoxious sometimes when im sitting in idle
