Nice looking vehicle. Was going to ask what that was on the hood, but I see it is the reflection of the gable-end peak of the house roof. Now that's shiney. Hope you don't live in heavy pollen country.

Very nice.:supercool: I've been contemplating one of these as a replacement for my Gen 1 Trac when the time comes.

My wife has the 2008 edge awd limited with the vista roof, we love it. No problems as of yet. She only has 7000 miles on it and we bought it brand new. Back and forth to school and a few sunday drives on the seacoast!

Pollen is our best friend and biggest enemy here for the next few weeks but we have a dirt driveway, so the pollen is only half the equation with a black vehicle. It's what she likes, though.

It has everything except the navigation, 20" wheels and AWD. Didn't realize that whole freakin' roof slides open until this morning. :D

27 mpg coming home from Atlanta today.

Thanks. After a couple days and putting a couple hundred miles on it, I realllllly like this vehicle. It is effortless to drive, extremely comfortable, quiet, perfectly powered and smooth shifting. I could not be happier with this purchase unless I was as happy as my wife.

Big time puddin' face when I got 27.6 mpg to class yesterday.

Wife's been driving it around about a week now, just city driving. Average mpg is over 22! She's the heavy foot in the family, too.

We got the front windows tinted today to match the rear and did the windshield at 80% with ceramic. Looks great and will hopefully help with the heat and save the leather some.

And of course she just had to add those silly name initials on the rear glass. Now I can't look fly driving it...I just look like I'm driving my wife's Edge.

I liked our 2010 Edge but wasn't a fan of the fuel mileage. Tracking the fuel mileage via Fuelly.com had me at 17.9 mpg with the Edge. The best mileage I ever got with it was 26.2 and that was on a trip to NM with the cruise set at 75 mph. FWIW my mpg computer in the Edge was almost always 2 mpg higher than what I was actually getting. We had the Nav setup in ours and it was by far the best system I have ever had. All in all a nice vehicle I'm sure you'll be happy with it for years to come

She's loving it and it uses at worst, half the gas of the Tahoe. Win, win! I thought it'd be difficult to get her into something smaller than the Tahoe as much as she loved that thing. I asked if she even wanted to entertain the thought of an Escape but she wouldn't even walk over to it with me. She held her ground and said, "this is as small as I can go." Price difference was negligible between the two so I didn't bother.

Gas is only part of the equation. It's a cost of owning a vehicle in my view. The long trips are the only reason I can see to really desire better mpg. I always over-budget for gas every month and it's just a part of life expenses, not a surprising "how do I get to work?" situation. Now, for longer trips, $200 in gas feels better than $500 in gas even if fully budgeted for, lol.
