Magellan 700 Map & Software Update Version 6

I just picked up a Magellan 700 and was wondering if anyone has the Map & Software Update Version 6 they may may not be using or wouldn't mind sharing and letting me update my software. I have check the magellan website and I haven't found it on ebay yet.

I believe sharing copyrighted software is illegal, so shouldn't be asked for on a public website. It could bring trouble to the (innocent) site admins

When you get the update from them it is tied to your machine exclusively. You have to put it your serial number for it to work. So, even if someone would share, it would not work in your machine anyway as it is tied to their specific serial number. What I can tell you is that it is well worth the $100 to update especially if you passed on the last update.

Not trying to get anyone in trouble, some software give license or certificates so that would be avoided (ie: microsoft office 2007 lets you install the software on 2 pc's).



I do not or did not know how they're software is published, it's not available on thier site from what I can tell.

kgriffis I tried to download the update but seem unsuccessful is there anything I should look out for? I'm stuck at the shopping cart when I hit checkout it does nothing.



I don't think its available anymore since version 6 is out, oh well thanks for the help. I'll give them a call tomorrow on my luchbreak and see if I can still get it.

Yep, I'm registered. Didn't get to call today, will try tomorrow, unless it takes sometime to be put into thier system. Also noticed in my account, it only show updates 3.32 which I already have (4.32) and version 6.
