mass air flow sensor

My check engine light just came on and autozone told me it was my mass air flow sensor does anyone have one in good cond. or know where the cheapest place would be

Many have cleaned there's with "Contact Cleaner" and they have been good to go....

w/o flex fuel; 4 Dr, Sport Trac, from 3/29/00

Found them as low as $50.00 tested (used). Or, simply pulled off the vehicle assumed good for $35.00 for Job 2 applications.



This will at least give you an idea.

Possibly the people at autozone dont know what theyre talkin about, and just wanna sell you a MAS lol..what was the exact codes? as usual, post the codes and someone like todd z will help-try posting in the main forum though-not as many ppl read this one. What were the symtpons of the MAS, rough idle?? thats what i had and cleaned it up, worked good.
