Hi, Sorry to be a pain, but I had found these 20" wheels that I absolutely love, but it has a +40mm offset...

What is the MAX offset I can have w/ 20" wheels without having rubbing issues

Also will have a 2" X-Spec lowering kit installed.

Thanks a ton!

Depends on the width of the tires, but I'd say -0- offset. +40mm is virtually guaranteed to rub on the inside.

What the heck, go old-school deep dish with big negative offset.

Ugh ;)

Well I see some people with +20-+25 offset that have no problems here... I guess I should stick to this?

This specific wheel comes in 8.5/9.0/9.5 widths.

Well, Now I found some 20" Wheels with a +35 Offset... Cna I just use a 1" spacer to get it down to like +11 or so??

Im not sure how this all works, I understand the concept, but just about spacers, and stuff...

1" = 24mm or so... so if I use a 1" spacer on all 4 wheels that have a +35 offset, that should be ok??

Please help.. I need to order something soon, before the money burns a hole in my pocket and falls out ;)

haha..

You have to like anyone who posts a picture of the 'striped tomato' to demonstrate their point.

Thanks, it beats explaining the difference between offset and backspace, positive and negative.

I'm running 17x8 with +29mm offset lowered 3/2 on 265/70/17s, and it only rubs when turning if I'm turning full left or right. It also rubs when I slow down or go over bumps and what not, but that's due to the tires...
